What does that matter? If I'm not mistaken, the black gentleman apologized for striking the old man first.
All the stupid details and bravado he throws onto his story does not change the events that occurred. The black gentleman admitted to starting the physical part of the confrontation.
Thought it seems like they both seem to have selective memory of the events in question...
