100mph is TOUGH on that bike. I mean, it's nekkid, so the wind buffeting is incredible to me after riding something with farings.
But, I totally get what you're saying.
Expert testimony IS expert testimony. In this case, the officer was certified in speed estimation. That makes him "certified" to make such an assumption. I don't know how they came up with 79mph, seems rather specific for an estimation.
