Stopping drilling for six months is meaningless. What they need to do is force the oil companies to review their safety practices and be accountable. If that involves a period of inactivity then so be it, but workers should be compensated.

This sequence of words is to my liking. It's not just the people's jobs though.. we can't totally depend on foreign oil.
