That kind of pride will get you killed. And, have the media screaming about how dangerous the motorcycle rider is.
I am not in any way excusing the actions of the rider. But, the report said the officer chased the rider at 100+ speeds then he came up on him at the light after exiting the freeway. The video shows the rider stopped behind a car at the light - I'm willing to bet the rider had no idea the officer was chasing him. If he was aware of it, why would he stop for the light?
So the officer moves his car over, gets out of the car and puts his hand on the rider. Rider then takes off with the officer holding onto the back of the bike. The officer probably scared the ever-loving-shit out of the rider by coming up to him on foot at a light. And, why would you go behind the bike? Why not walk in front of it... put a hand up... take the key out?? Something other than behind the bike and hand on shoulder. Weird.
But, it's the BIKE's fault.
