Our legal system is fucking weird. I watched a show about some drug king pin in Miami who was giong to go to jail for basically the rest of his life due to his drug dealings. He faked his death, lived in Buffalo for 5 years (maybe evne less), and then got caught. Somehow he only served 3years in jail. No way statute of limitations runs out on something that could have put you away in jail for life.
This guy kind of did the same thing.
