Almost done wiring up the top box. I ended up using one entire strip of automotive LEDs, under the reflector on the top box, and they're damned near blinding. They're embedded in flexible rubber so I was able to run them right across the back, then bend them into the grab handle area. They're also 3M tape backed, which made it that much easier.

I tested them by hooking them up to a 12V security system battery, that I had laying around. Being in the top box will put them just about at the eye level, of the average vacant driver, so that's perfect.
