[QUOTE=Lola;116298]I have bought from http://www.swmototires.com/ and Cycle Gear (CG purchase was with the tire road hazard warranty thingie because I am good at finding sharp objects in roadways). I typically yank the wheels and take them to CG for mount/balance.

i've bought from swmoto before also, good deal and free shipping if you buy 2 tires

my boss where i work orders them there all the time for customers

I've looked at some of these sites and found the Diablos were $280+ a set and even the Continentals were $260 a set. I found the Diablos for $180 a set...

I don't know if that front will fit my bike or not.

I have a 120/60 on it now, but that's not stock size either.

Is there a general rule of thumb to go by on buying tires that aren't stock size that will fit?

120/60 is stock for a sv650, 120/70 is stock for a sv1000

either will fit, its just the aspect ratio.

Mayhap my front is a 65. When these were gotten I was told it wasn't stock size....but then again, the guy coulda been wrong. I really need to get the PDF manual again.
