My trip to New Orleans will be with a small group. I'm hoping the ride to Suches, GA for the rally will find me meeting up with some people so I won't have to make THAT long of a trip by myself (this is the one that makes me apprehensive). My planned trip to Austin doesn't bother me that much since I've ridden back twice by myself. I always seem to have someone with my on my way to Austin, never back.

Doh!
You would have to bring that up, wouldn't you. ![]() I can do that, but noone likes me going the back way (and more direct) there. Most feel I'm safer going 20 then to 35. I've ridden the back way before...at night...and it wasn't bad...just buggy as hell.
