i have today off and was planning on sleeping in 'till the crack of noon. instead, my girlfriend woke me up ay 7:30 to tell me her windshield is frozen over and she lost her ice scraper. So at 7:40, my dumb-@ss is out in the 30 degree weather with a surfboard wax comb(it's Texas, thats the closest thing i own to an ice scraper), scraping ice off of her Accord. *sigh* that's karma rewarding me for taking a day off.

I used a best buy credit card when my defroster broke on my truck. card held up for about 6 or 7 scrapes, froze, and then broke in half. the laws of physics are sweeeeeet!

At least you weren't like the woman in my apartment complex (I think it was 2003). She came downstairs with a bucket of steaming hot water. I stopped her and told her "You don't want to do what I think you're going to do".

She just gave me a look of indifference and scoffed a bit... telling me she knew exactly what she was doing.

I just stood there and watched. It's one of those things that I've always wanted to see.... she threw the water at her windshield. It shattered into a billion pieces then fell inside.

I just chuckled, turned and walked away.
