Whats frustrating is having crummy staff and then working fast track and having about 75% of people here for non emergent stuff. So far I have had about 4 out 15 peopel with truly emergent stuff. Those people I like seeing becasue they have a problem and I can usuaily fix it.

I worked night shift a couple years ago at walmart of all places. Not only was it a shitty job but the night work life helped to destroy my relationship, my social life, and my grades in college. When I was finally done with that job my gf of 3 years and I were finished, so ever since I have been nothing but focus on work and school.

Now that school is done and I have no job, I am bored a hell.

I did get to drain a penile abcess earleir, beats the smelly bloody cooter any day.

I do have a few cases tonight where I actualy had to use my brain, otherwise i am on cruise control.

Guy was refered by his pmd because theyre useless and cant do anything anyway. I paged him at 2am to let him know all was well. He was none too happy about it but I told him if I am up he can be up too

That's something I know I would do.

I'm bad about waking people up in the middle of the night because they can't take care of their shit and I have to deal with it. If I have to be bothered with it, you can wake your ass up and be as frustrated about it as me.


Ok, so I'm not medical, but I am part of the first responders, where would I fit in in the twfix ER?

Dispatching puts me basically where I am now and it's NOT in an ER setting.
