China/Hong Kong plastics?

I've heard nothing but nightmare stories from others about chinese plastics. Between the bad fit and difficult time TRYING to get them on the bike - they shatter on impact if there is any crash after.

Looks great, but you get what you pay for.....

That's depressing, there was actually some good looking plastic on ebay.

I'd rather go with airtech fiberglass parts and just customize them to suit my needs.

Yep, I've heard the same thing. Even if the fit's right, lay it down and it'll look like you dropped a glass bike.
