I rode yesterday but before that atleast a month. Which I don't mind the cold at all but I work outdoors full time then go to school right after work. So it got annoying having a bookbag, with another bag full of clothes/shoes to change into before school. And then I had some thick Carhart bibs for the cold. And taking all of that into school was a PITA. So I trucked it for a bit. But I got some 30degree mountain biking in since I couldn't really ride the motorcycle.

Normally I judge it to the point I need my Carhart bib for the way to work at 6:30am. And then can just wear jeans on the ride home at 8:30pm when I leave school. That's when I take the bike out. Haven't had those days in a while.

rode today for 6 hrs, mostly dirt and gravel roads (Pisgah Nat. Forest) plus about 80 miles on the slab to get there. The weather was perfect (I didn't even plug in my heated gear)

Besided running out of gas on the way to the gas station, riding with tweaked forks (wasn't me), riding into a ditch - opps, and breaking a plate on the chain I had a great time

Very true.
And mine is even shorter as I'll be leaving on deployment.
