good advice... for right now... I've got (or soon will have) the bike I want. I think if/when I buy another bike... it'll be in adition to instead of replacing the 600RR.
to be honest... I wouldn't mind a down swing in the "total redesigns"... it'd make parts cheaper and more readily available... and probably be the most cost effective change for the manufactures. the one draw back I think we'll see, as you said, was bikes being dropped... things like the ZZR or R6S... or FZ6 or FZ1... they've got decent sized followings... but enough to keep the line alive? (the FZ's might do ok as they get their motor from the SS bikes) |

Nice write up.....
And i believe i've done i nice job of finding a "steal"..... I just feel like such a douchenozzle for buying a bike without my rents knowing.... and then even hear my dad say the words "cutting back". I just wanna go to sleep and wake up when this is all over......

Again great wisdom. I have been looking to ride this bargain train. My only problem is I can afford only one bike and I cannot for the life of me decide which bargain beckons...
The 09 Triumph 675 has been perfected and is sweet, a cross plane R1 is golden, that left over 08 ZX10 tempts me as does teh left over 08 GSXR1000 next to it. Then across the overpass sits 3 KTM SuperDukes, 2 Rs and a standard model That are not gonna bring sticker. The 1125R has been righted for 09 and I know there will be bargains. Ther eare still 08 CBR1000s floating about. ![]() I love them ALL! I want them ALL!

This may help us out:
http://money.cnn.com/2009/02/13/news...uals/index.htm Stimulus: How it may affect your wallet Congress has finalized the economic recovery plan. Here's a look at some of the provisions geared at financial relief for individuals Temporary deduction for car buyers: The bill would let those who buy a new car, light vehicle, recreational vehicle or motorcycle in 2009 deduct state and local sales taxes as well as any excise tax charged in the purchase. The deduction would be available to those earning less than $125,000 ($250,000 for joint filers). It will be an above-the-line deduction, meaning even taxpayers who don't itemize may take it in addition to the standard deduction. Estimated cost: $1.7 billion.
