these are 4 strokes, I haven't ridden the DRZ400 but have ridden the 250's from Kawi and Yamaha. not enough power on the street from my test rides anyway. but then again, I ride an 06 ZX10R and there aren't that many bikes that impress me for grunt.

I'll be getting a DRZ for the street in a couple months. Right now my priorities are elsewhere...
