your plan sounds solid, just be nice to that rear until its time to leave in may.

buy another set of wheels, it works well unless you screw up and take the good dry track tires to a soaking wet track and leave the better wet tires at home.

thats a good idea, i never considered a second pair of wheels already fitted and balanced.
