Think again. As long as he isn't claiming more than "fair market value", the motorcycle isn't in need of any repairs and, the charitable amount does not exceed 50% of his adjusted income, then he can deduct the motorcycle value from his taxes. I have a '99 also, it is a great bike.

Have you tried the SV board(s)?

If you get desperate, shoot me a PM.

I did try SVrider and since my account was sold old it didn't exist anymore. I registered a new one and tried to post it FS and was told newbs can't do that, with attitude from the guy. I explained the situation, then he allowed me to do it as if he was doing me a big favor, "I should know better" and what not. So I told him, essentially, to GFY and remove my account.

So no, it's not up there.

Keep forgetting to mention, I have a Dowco cover for it, too. It's of no use once the bike is gone. It cost me $100 new, if I remember correctly, when I bought it.
