It doesn't create them but the phrases "green jobs" and "green economy" are thrown at anything like this in order to spin it as having an economic benefit. I would have thought that building the natural-gas fired power plant (which they will almost certainly need anyway) would have created some jobs though.

The good news is it will not get rid of any manufacturing jobs in the TV industry, at least not in America. I don't think a TV has been built here in at least a couple of decades.
