I'd still take Edwards over Palin.

John Edwards isn't a particularly bright bulb himself, but would have had the added benefit of completely miring a second Kerry term in scandal. The possibility of Palin doing something that would create a similar effect certainly exists (like becoming President), but currently Edwards has a nice lead in the "Retrospectively Most Disastrous Recent VP Candidates" category IMO.

Great examples of the trash the 2 parties have been shoving down our throats every 4 years. W, Gore, McCain, Kerry, Edwards, Palin, Hillary...

I wouldnt want to be stuck on a bus for any length of time with them let alone think they are responsible for leading our country.
