PA isn't keeping the returns but I know a few states are. That shit has be to illegal.

Seriously... I have NEVER EVER NEVER EVER seen a check point. Never even heard of one in Michigan EVER!

We have them here from time to time before it would be like a few times a year and they would pretty much announce it as a booze it and lose it campaign, but these days they are on our backroads stopping traffic both ways

There is one town about an hour south of me that the mayor has told cops to ticket everyone going even 1MPH over the limit. The town is having issues because property taxes have been capped and they're losing money. They decided to make up for the lost revenue by issuing speeding tickets.

We ran into a "checkpoint" back in November on our way from Lake Lure to Asheville. It was a couple state troopers. I think they just asked me for my drivers license.

yep they are quite frequently on those 2 lane back roads/hwys
