Yep - NY has a "recommended" speed sign so you can usually get away with going over, however, if something happens (accident) you'll get an "unreasonable speed" ticket in the blink of an eye

Thats what drives me nuts up in the catskills I will see a 15mph sign so I slow down and am like where the damn turn, then others will say 15 and its some sort of 180 degree hairpin turn. theres realy no consistency in the signs here.

patterson cant see the signs anyway beside some other inappropriate shit he did will surface sooner or later. In retrospect looks like spitzer wasnt all that bad he just banged a few hookers.

yeah - honestly, I could care less who the governor is banging as long as the state does what it's supposed to do.

It looks like the rider saw the cop, panicked, and grabbed a handful of brake. I don't think the accident would've happened had the cop not been there but I can't fault the cop for the wreck, the dumbass rider is to blame.
