Okla. tea parties and lawmakers envision militia

Last month, FBI agents conducted a raid on the Hutaree militia group in southern Michigan and accused members of plotting to kill law enforcement officers.

And when will the full evidence against these people be brought to light? A bunch of posts on an internet board saying you want to kill cops isn't enough evidence IMO, and doesn't warrant an all-out Homeland Security investigation. IMO they were just trailer trash who weren't capable of shooting their own feet.

Unless the state gov puts out a call for the militia to form then it isn't a state militia, instead it is a militia group, sorta like the nutcases that were recently busted in minessota. Yeh anti governemt activities usually cause the FBI to become involved

Of course they do. Because, while we may be "free," we aren't free to feel the need to take action against the government. Oh, I forgot, we can take action by voting different people into office. "different" meaning they continue to do the same type of shit as the people we wanted to get rid of, but just with different names for it. So the question still stands, what does an armed militia group do to stop the Federal government from "taking away freedoms" if voting isnt an option?

They do fuck all, aside from stocking up on canned peaches and Glen Beck posters.

Occasionally, they blow up buildings full of pre-schoolers.
