I think it's Allstate that will only ensure certain bikes. It's kind of ironic that they have this huge motorcycle insurance ad campaign, but they won't insure anything I care to ride. State Farm for me, all the way. They insure all 3 of my vehicles and my home, and I have had nothing but excellent rates and service from them.

Allstate insures of all 4 of our bikes, from the Duc to the vintage stuff. Cheap too. $423.00 a year for all of them. I added another bike to the policy a couple of years ago, and the total actually went DOWN. ![]() JC

I used to have Allstate for everything. House/cars/bikes. I've never had a claim on anything and my driving record is squeaky clean. Right after 9/11 they TRIPLED my rates. My homeowner's went from $1,100 to $3,300 and my car/bike insurance went up the same amount. I called to find out wtf was going on and they said since they took such a big hit on 9/11 they had to increase their rates. I told them "good luck" and canceled my policies on the spot. Now I have AAA for home/cars and State Farm for my bike.

What kind do they not want to insure. Now that I'm 25 I've been wanting to look into State Farm. Heard they sucked before 25 but now that I'm 25 I'd like to put all my shit with them.
