Dude OEMs use 80db or less already. Why would it hurt them?

The aftermarket exhaust companies will suffer.....and those that put a can on a 2013 or newer bike.

It would hurt them because which bike would you buy, a 2012 or a 2013? Simple.

And fewer new riders are going to be interested in becoming riders after 2013, if they know bikes can't be modified. Unless they want to keep buying old bikes.

True...but only for a year or two. And most people aren't going to know the law anyway.

People now can be ticketed for aftermarket exhaust so in reality there is no difference other than the cops can pull you over to check for a correct label.
