The conflicts I'm referring to are going to be because of denying benefits which will cause lawsuits.

Naw, thats gonna be a few years off. Until gay marriage is federally recognized it wont be a major issue. There might be some lawsuits but nothing will come of it.

Naw, the tipping point will be that enough states allow it, then when the next democratic congress comes in it will become federally recognized
