I will say one thing, the bike he was riding was not the best for getting your body postion in the right place easily. That thing felt like shit to sit on from a kneedragging point of view. Probably was nicer for touring the long distance he did though.

Trip helped me with my positioning... I was dragging toes instead of knees and he followed me for a bit to figure it out... My foot positioning was fine (cause I've always focused on that). Turns out I wasn't moving my leg/ass around the tank, but rather straight off the side.

Once he pointed that out I immediately got more comfortable... and faster. The damn bike was just so wide it was hard for me to get it right. I still have too much weight on the bars in the turns, partially due to my fat ass... partially due to the bike I was on.

I'm gonna hit the gym and keep practicing... I'll hit the track sometime this summer and I'm sure I'll be much faster...
