I have a friend of a friend in the area that's selling a copper '03 SV1000 with Jardine slipons on it. 13,400 miles, $4900. It was well taken care of. If you want more information, I can get it. Here are some pics:

I just got off the phone with the SV650 guy. The funny part is that he lives less than a mile away. I'm going to see the bike tonight. I'll report back!

The guy is not the first owner. He bought the bike in May.

He has hardly ridden the bike.

He doesn't want it because he's not comfortable sitting on it (6'5" guy).

It's his first bike.

The ODO reads about 18442 (there's a pic of it coming).

There's a scuff on the tail section.

The can is a Scorpion.

The guy says it's from the previous owner hanging his helmet on the bike.

That is believable. The bike does not look like it has been down on either side.

The previous owner had all maintenance done at the dealer in Lincoln, NE (the same one that sold me the bike with the cracked engine block and told me to pound sand).

Personally, I think his asking price is a bit high.
