There are 6 long rubber covered nut that go around the windscreen. (I have no clue if all/most/some other bikes are like that too) The reason Mark had to drill bigger holes was because the little nuts did not fit in the pre drilled ones.

I put all the nuts back on the windscreen and tried to get it to snap back into the holes on the upper fairing...but no. There is ONE that I cannot get a grip on from the back...then I had to take the thing off the screen and now I cannot get it back on. But it was such a PITA to get the rest clipped on that I do not want to take the rest off to get the one to work.

I am so frustrated that I am stepping away for the night...I don't want to end up snapped any plastic because I am pissed!

Might just take off the upper so I can get my hand behind...we'll see in the morning.

And in case none of that made sense...basically I am stuck!

I JUST GOT IT!!! I guess leaving it alone and stepping away was a good thing. Still took me another 15 minutes but I got it.

Hubby is still asleep...I like the check with him about how tight the screws should be...don't want to crack anything. Pics soon!
