I've had the bug a couple of times (back when I owned a bike that was track practical), but I just convinced myself that I would probably have wadded my bike and been screwed.
"Why... no, Mr. State Farm Adjustor Man... I wasn't at the track... it was.. umm... gravel in the intersection! " Yeah... I'm a chicken. Piss off.
