Yes, eventually, but for right now the only that changed is that folks cant get kicked out.

I believe the military will follow a very conservative route with this, they dont want to piss off congress too much.

Why not eliminate ALL marriage benefits. No matter if straight or gay.

Well in the military you don't get paid enough to support a family. It's a system to keep things a cheap as possible.

I'm against eliminating the child benefit for the simple reason that it promotes people to procreate and thus afford to raise the kid properly. This is of course marring parent legal status.

If the military wishes to give people who are married more money, so be it. It is their budgetst they need to fall within.
