I had some guy try to friend me on FB so he could have another Farmtown neighbor!

I didn't know who he was so I asked and he said, "Oh I see you are friends with so and so and I need more Farmtown neighbors." Um, NOT!!

Yeah I just recently broke down and got a FB account...it's ok I guess but I deny/ignore all request for Farmville...Mafia Wars...etc....I'm just not into playing all of the games and such.

I've already had an ex wife and a few other people from my past send friend request that I wasn't expecting.

Yep the phone and email has always worked for me too already mentioned here.

YIKES!! The first thing I did was block my ex, all his family, and most of his friends!

I haven't blocked anyone yet and "don't think" I've been blocked by anyone.

My ex and I have been apart for awhile and it wasn't a knockdown drag out when we parted but it was still kind of weird to see her on there requesting to be my friend. We didn't have kids so I don't really see a need for us to keep in contact.

Is there a way to block all posts by one of your friends or do you have to remove them as a friend?

yea u can block all the game posts, or even block all the posts from anybody.

You can block their posts. To the right of one of their wall posts there should be some kind of option box. Can't remember exactly what it says but it's something like, "Hide all posts from this member." You also hide all those annoying Mafia wars and Farmtown updates and requests for farm tools!

you can ignore, 70-80% of my friends list is ignored.
